Certification bodies like Fairtrade were created to mitigate the volatility in the market and increase prices for farmers to offset the impacts of low market prices and high costs of production.

Sadly,  some of largest coffee corporations are pulling out of this alliance, while others continue to greenwash their true identity resulting in a spike of coffee prices and a poorer deal for the farmers. Our mission is to right that balance.
